Twenty-seven years and 20 GRAMMYs later, gospel singer Kirk Franklin reveals that his first GRAMMY will always be the most special due to the circumstances surrounding his win. Three years before that golden moment, Franklin was evicted from his home because he couldn't make rent. However, he found comfort in the message conveyed by the music made at his Baptist church and continued on that path.
