Amy Grant vividly recalls her first GRAMMY nomination at the 1980 GRAMMYs in the Best Gospel Performance, Contemporary or Inspirational category for her debut album, My Father’s Eyes. As a teenager abroad, she received the big news via telegram. Fast forward 43 years, Grant has won six GRAMMYs, all displayed at her home studio.

“What I love about the GRAMMYs is just the shared experience of music," Grant notes. "There’s so much music. So many different kinds, so many genres, so many artists. And that’s the one night everyone comes together. It’s a great learning curve and you’re just celebrating everyone,” she reflects.
