Korn on the band's legacy, 2017 tour with Ded and Yelawolf

What is Korn up to and how do they feel about their legacy? These were just two of the topics the GRAMMY-winning nu-metal band discussed with the Recording Academy backstage at the 2017 Alternative Press Music Awards in Cleveland.

Brian "Head" Welch, Ray Luzier, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and James "Munky" Shaffer also talked about their latest album, Serenity Of Suffering, their advice for aspiring musicians, why they love Yelawolf and Machine Gun Kelly, the influence of bands like Metallica and Pantera, and why they're excited to bring new bands like Ded out on their summer 2017 tour.

"If it ended today, I'm good with it," said Fieldy. "My son [who's] 10 put on "Blind" [from 1994's Korn]. My wife was like, 'That's still one of the coolest songs ever written.' It has this vibe that sounds classic . ... The legacy is to go back to the oldest stuff and people can still listen to it."
