GRAMMY-nominated rapper Nas has announced his first children's book, I Know I Can, which aims to empower "kids to be whatever they want to be when they grow up." It is also based on the song of the same name off his 2002 album, God's Son.

The book is a part of a new children's product and apparel line called Mass Appeal Junior that the rapper and co-owner CEO Peter Bittenbender hope inspires "future generations through the creation of unique toys, apparel, and innovative learning tools.” The two also own Mass Appeal, a record label, prodution company, creative agency and magazine.

"[Nas'] song ‘I Can’ embodies everything that MAJR represents," Bittenbender told Fast Company. "There are a lot of layers to it, but overall it’s a message of inspiration. It’s a message of limitless possibility."

The book's release date has not been announced. Boombox building blocks and parent-children matching apparel will also be among the first products released. 

"I’ve always understood the limitless power of young people, and being a father has brought it even closer to home,” Nas said in a statement. "We’re introducing MAJR to prepare today’s youth for tomorrow’s world. Our goal is to help children of all backgrounds fully realize their potential by tapping into their creativity in new and innovative ways."
