Formed in 2014, the eight women comprising Lovelyz are considered emblems of light-hearted, girlish style in K-pop. "That Day," the lead single from their latest EP, Heal, deals with the aftermath of a possibly poisonous breakup in shining style. The visual style for the dynamic video was described by Billboard as "pastels and rainbows."
During an April 22 interview, the group confirmed that Heal represented a collaborative labor of love of sorts.
"I worked on this album with other composers," said group leader Baby Soul about her songwriting. "I wrote the song, erased it, wrote it, erased it, and repeated that."

Whatever passions moved beneath the surface for the band members, it all comes together in their work on Heal. The themes of reunion and letting sour memories fade lend a courageous irony to their charming glamour, representing their inner choice to move ahead and to rise.
