Shortly after the announcement of her headlining and curating gig at Washington, D.C.'s All Things Go 2018 Fall Classic, Maggie Rogers has just dropped her latest single titled "Fallingwater."

The head-bob-worthy track features Rogers' soaring, pure vocals with a catchy, lilting melody and simple backbeat whose origins stretch back to 2016. The singer/songwriter revealed on Twitter that she began working on the song with writing/producing partner Rostam Batmanglij in her Brooklyn, N.Y., apartment. As they finalized the track over the next two years, Rogers said she found her voice and "Fallingwater" represents that journey.
"'Fallingwater' is about these past two years, this giant transition and ride that I've been on," Rogers wrote. "It's a song that celebrates rapid change and how simultaneously scary and electric it can feel. It's about giving everything and not knowing if it's enough. It’s about the power of vulnerability — a cry for help and a battle cry at the same time."
