New York-based imprint label Polo Grounds Music has extended its joint venture deal with RCA Records, setting the record for the longest and most successful joint venture in RCA history. From A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg to Yo Gotti and Hurricane Chris to GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winner Pitbull, the 13-year partnership has scored a littany of hits.

“I’ve enjoyed working with RCA & their talented executive team breaking iconic artist like Pitbull, Yo Gotti, A$AP Rocky & Ferg and now Calboy who is an incredible creator," says PGM President and Founder Bryan Leach. "Our A&R team is aggressively finding and signing new talent like Jay Gwuapo that will make these next few years more exciting than the first 13!”

Leach's optimism is well-founded, as the joint venture has racked up nearly 40 billion streams and over 92 million singles and 16 million ablum sales worldwide, according to a statement, and they're just getting started. Chicago rapper and new PGM signee Calboy's "Envy Me" has been viewed over 58 million times on YouTube, and 18-year-old Brooklyn native Jay Gwuapo has generated buzz based on his singles "Downbad" and "Lifestyle" and is set to release his debut EP in April.

“We have enjoyed 13 tremendous years of partnership with Bryan and Polo Grounds," says RCA Chairman & CEO Peter Edge. "Bryan is an expert in creating an organic groundswell for young, emerging talent and propelling them to the next level. He has been and continues to be a powerful force in hip-hop music and culture. RCA is looking forward to amplifying that success and welcomes the next generation of artists, Calboy and Jay Gwuapo, in what will be an exciting year for both burgeoning acts.”

Considering PGM's track record with RCA, these fresh faces and voices provide plenty of promise for what's to come.
