  • Born Donald McKinley Glover on Sept. 25, 1983, in Edwards Air Force Base, California
  • Childish Gambino's (real name Donald Glover) 2013 sophomore album, 2013's Because The Internet, peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Top Rap Albums chart.
  • Childish Gambino received his first GRAMMY nominations for Best Rap Album (Because The Internet) and Best Rap Performance ("3005") at the 57th GRAMMY Awards.
  • Did you know? He recorded Because The Internet at a mansion he rented from basketball star Chris Bosh in Los Angeles, which Childish Gambino dubbed "The Temple."
  • Childish Gambino appeared at the GRAMMY Museum's Spotlight series in 2014, performing the GRAMMY-nominated "3005."
  • He is an active supporter of Community Connections, an organization dedicated to meeting the needs of children in foster and adoptive placements by providing treatment services through family-centered practice.
